Our office is open by appointment only. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in the office. Appointments are also required to try onglasses.
All patients must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.
All patients must use the hand sanitizing station upon entry to the office
We ask that patients come to their appointment alone, unless anotherperson is necessary (parent, care worker, translator, etc.)
What we’re doing to keep you safe:
We are carefully following the guidelines from Public Health Ontario and the College of Optometrists of Ontario to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We have implemented new safety measures and protocols to keep patients and staff safe:
All Doctors and staff must wear masks at all times, as well as eye protection in cases where social distancing cannot be maintained
All Doctors and staff must follow strict handwashing and health/safety measures at all times.
Our schedule has been reduced in order to maintain social distancing. This also ensures that we have sufficient time to thoroughly clean and disinfect exam rooms and equipment.
All patients are screened for COVID-19 when booking their appointment, and upon entry to the office.
To reduce time spent in office, intake and consent forms are to be filled out digitally prior to appointment.
Plexiglass barriers have been installed at the reception and dispensary desk.
We have made changes to our waiting room to permit safe social distancing.
Shared spaces and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each patient visit.
Only staff members will be permitted to retrieve frames and sunglasses off the display case.
All eyewear tried on by patients/clients will be thoroughly sanitized before being returned to the display shelf.
Telemedicine consults may be offered in certain cases.
