Our doctors have been extensively trained in the management of dry eye disease. During your dry eye assessment, advanced technology will be used to assess the surface of your eyes and eyelids. Your lifestyle, recreational and work demands will also be assessed to create a dry eye management plan personalized for you.

Our Technology

The Oculus Keratograph 5M is vital for obtaining dry eye data for patients. It can perform meibography (specialized imaging of your meibomian glands), capture non-invasive tear film break-up time, allow for ocular redness evaluation, analyze an individual's tear film, and more.

This powerful tool helps our doctors diagnose your type of dry eye disease and find an effective method of treating it. You'll be able to see firsthand how your eyes look to us too!

Scleral contact lenses are gas permeable lenses with a wide diameter. These lenses have a pocket that fills with moisturizing tears. This wet, lubricating cushion leads to a very comfortable wearing experience all day long. The large size of the lens also protects your eyes from debris, dust, and allergens. In addition to continuous moisture being provided to the eye, scleral lenses also can improve vision to those with irregular corneas from diseases like keratoconus or severe dry eye.

iLux is an advanced handheld technology used to treat meibomian gland dysfunction. It uses breakthrough thermal pressure that can alleviate dry eye-related discomfort in as little as one session. iLux is a safe and effective treatment comparable to LipiFlow. iLux unblocks obstructed meibomian glands by applying warm heat and gentle compression to the eyelids. This clears out the blocked glands to relieve you of dry eye discomfort by improving the quality of your tears. In conjunction with other dry eye therapy, patients can find up to a year of relief from symptoms following iLux.

BlephEx is a precise and safe procedure used to treat blepharitis by reducing bacterial load and demodex mites in eyelids.

With BlephEx, our doctors are able to perform a very efficient and thorough cleaning of the eyelid margin with lasting effect. Medically known as Microblepharoexfoliation, this gentle 15 minute in-office treatment allows for a rapid restoration of the healthy lid surface by exfoliating with a medical grade micro-sponge. BlephEx is repeated at a scheduled interval of 3-6 months for optimal results and may be paired with iLux.
